Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 19 October 2026 · Version 1.0 · Part of our Service Terms

This policy explains what A Little Song will and will not create, how we check it, how you can report something that should not be here, and what we do about it. It applies to every story, lyric, song, photo and dedication that passes through the service.

1.What this covers

2.What we will not generate

Six categories are prohibited outright. They are not "allowed with conditions" here — we do not have an age-verified adult tier, so there is no category we permit on request.

2.1 Absolutely prohibited — zero tolerance

The following are actioned immediately, without a warning step, and may be reported to law enforcement:

2.2 Other prohibited conduct

2.3 Photographs of other people

You may upload only a photo you took, one you have the right to use, or one you have the permission of the people in it to share. Do not upload a photo of someone else without their consent, a photo of a child that is sexualised in any way, or an image intended to embarrass or expose a real person.

3.How content is reviewed

3.1 Automated screening, before anything leaves our server

Every story, lyric draft, lyric edit and dedication is scanned by our own rule-based filter before a request is sent to a model provider. The filter looks for the six categories above — for example, sexual terms appearing near words describing a minor, or requests for graphic violence, weapons, or imitation of a named artist. A request that matches is refused with an explanation, is not sent to DeepSeek or Kie.ai, and is not charged.

On top of that, our providers run their own safety systems on the prompts they receive and the audio they return. Those systems are theirs, not ours, and we cannot see or change their decisions — but when they refuse, we pass the refusal on to you.

3.2 Human review

You read and edit the lyrics before any music is made. Any draft our filter flags, any order a provider refuses, and every report we receive is read by a person — currently the operator of A Little Song — before we act. We do not use an offshore moderation team, and we do not claim one.

3.3 Spot checks after delivery

We do not listen to every finished song before it is shared. Instead we review a small random sample of delivered orders each month, and we look again at any order that is reported. Gift pages are marked not to be indexed by search engines, which limits accidental discovery; it does not replace review.

5.Reporting content

If you see a song, lyric, photo or gift page on this service that breaks this policy, tell us:

Email support@mycustomsonggift.top with “Content report” in the subject line.

Include the gift link or order ID if you have it, what you saw, and why it breaks this policy. If the content is about you, say so — that moves it up the queue.

You do not need an account to report, and you may report anonymously. If you want a reply, include a way to contact you. Malicious or knowingly false reports are recorded; repeated false reports may lead to us declining further reports from that sender.

We treat reporter identity as confidential and do not disclose it to the person whose content was reported.

6.Response times

LevelFirst responseResolved
L1 — CriticalWithin 4 hoursWithin 24 hours
L2 — HighWithin 1 business dayWithin 3 business days
L3 — MediumWithin 3 business daysWithin 7 business days
L4 — LowWithin 5 business daysWithin 15 business days

The process is the same every time: report received and acknowledged → triaged into a level → examined by a person → decision → action → reply to the reporter. If we need longer, we tell the reporter why before the deadline passes.

7.What we do about it

Where an order is removed for a policy breach, we refund it. We keep a record of the report, the evidence and the action taken.

8.Appeals

If we removed your content or closed your account and you believe we were wrong, reply to the notice within 14 days, or email support@mycustomsonggift.top with “Content appeal” in the subject. Explain what you think we got wrong. We review appeals within 10 business days, and where possible the appeal is decided by someone other than the person who took the original action — for a one-person business, that means the operator reviews the decision again against this policy, in writing, rather than simply repeating it.

9.Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the product or the rules change. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes are announced on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.
