Privacy Notice
A Little Song is open for orders. Payment is processed by Waffo and is collected only after you hear your song preview and choose to keep it.
To write a song about someone, we need the story you tell us. This notice explains exactly what we collect, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to get it deleted.
1.Who is responsible
A Little Song is operated by Hailin Huang, an individual seller based in Shanghai, China. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Privacy questions and requests: support@mycustomsonggift.top.
2.What we collect

We do not ask for your postal address, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
We keep daily totals of requests to selected public pages and successful service actions to understand usage and delivery problems. These totals contain no visitor identifiers, IP addresses, cookies, query parameters, stories or private gift links. They count requests, including repeat visits and bots, rather than individual people. Aggregate totals are kept for up to 90 days.
3.Why we use it
- To provide the service you request — process your submitted story, generate lyrics and music, and provide the gift page, downloads and support you ask for. We use this data to perform the service you request.
- To process payment and recovery — record verified payment status, send transactional emails and help you find a paid order. Payments are handled by Waffo, or by Waffo Pancake when that method is offered; we do not receive your card number.
- To answer you and fix problems — support, disputes, and improving the question flow. This is our legitimate interest in running a service that works.
- To meet legal obligations — keeping transaction records for tax and accounting, and responding to lawful requests.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your story or song to train our own models.
4.Who processes it
The following services receive the information needed for their role. Their own terms and privacy notices may also apply, especially for payment services:

We also share data if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. If we ever sell or transfer the business, your data may transfer with it, and we will tell you before that happens.
5.Where your data goes
Our providers may process data outside the country you live in, including China, the United States and the European Union. Processing locations and safeguards depend on the provider and its terms. Contact us for the information applicable to your request. Because a song needs the story, that content leaves our server when generation runs — if you are not comfortable with that, please do not submit the story.
6.Cookies and local storage
We use an essential session cookie to connect you to submitted orders. It expires after seven days; clearing it may remove access to an order in progress. Browser storage keeps your draft story and lyric edits, current order ID, language and accessibility preferences, and an email address if entered for checkout. A selected photo may be stored locally for draft recovery. These local records do not automatically disappear when the session cookie expires. Use the creation page’s clear-draft action and your browser’s site-data controls to remove local data. Clearing a local draft does not delete a submitted server order; contact support for that. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
7.How long we keep it

We review stored order data when resolving support requests, and delete data that is no longer needed. You can request deletion at any time — see section 8. Any records we must retain for a legal obligation or dispute are restricted to that purpose.
8.Your rights
You may ask us to:
- confirm what we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything wrong;
- delete your data, including your story, photo and song;
- export your data in a portable format;
- stop a particular use, or withdraw consent where we relied on it.
Email support@mycustomsonggift.top with the request and your order ID. We respond within 30 days and do not charge for it. We may ask one or two questions to confirm the order is yours, so that we do not delete someone else's song. If we cannot meet the deadline we will tell you why. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.
9.Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Files are stored in private storage. Order access is checked using the session; gift files are accessible using the secret gift link. Gift links are long random links, not time-limited signed links, and stay valid while the gift is hosted. Provider credentials stay on the server and are never sent to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us sensitive information you would not want processed — health details, government identifiers, financial account numbers, or anything about a child.
10.Gift pages are shareable by design
A gift page is visible to anyone who has the full link, which is the point of a gift. Gift pages are marked not to be indexed by search engines, and they are not listed anywhere. Share the link only with the person the song is for.
11.Children
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
12.Changes to this notice
We update this notice when the service or our providers change. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will post a notice on the site or email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
